Since its inception in 1984, The Washington Hospital Occupational Medical Center (WHOMC) has been the premier provider for workers' compensation injury treatment and management, pre-placement, DOT, biennial, surveillance and return-to-work exams. Federally certified collectors perform drug testing and Evidential Breath Alcohol Technicians (BATs) perform evidential breath testing (EBT) for alcohol screening. In addition, an Urgent Care Center affiliated with The Washington Hospital can provide backup coverage for our center after our hours (4 p.m. – 9 p.m.) and over the weekend (9 a.m. – 9 p.m.).
The WHOMC practice is based on the Code of Ethics promulgated by the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, practice guidelines for musculoskeletal injuries and radiologic imaging/MRI/CT scans.
Reimbursement for workers' compensation services provided will be accepted per Pennsylvania State fee schedule guidelines.
We would like to meet personally with you to discuss the services we offer and to determine your company's specific occupationally-related needs.
